Look at the feedback I gave you on your draft of your philosophy project and on the rubric I shared with you via google docs.   What are your key takeaways from my feedback -- what do you really need to work on?  If you didn't submit a philosophy project draft to me, reflect on what you need to do create a refined project for all-school exhibition.

Today's Learning Goals
1. 
Understand the basic principles of and major arguments in Aldo Leopold's "Land Ethic" and evaluate the strengths and limitations of the "Land Ethic" as a legitimate environmental ethic.

2. Understand the major types of environmental ethics and begin to reflect on your personal envt ethic.

  • Honors:  See my email about the change in requirements for Half the Sky!
  • ALL Students:  Cross out the following pages in the "Land Ethic" essay by Aldo Leopold: 208, 209, 220, 221,  222, 223 ( but read from "The Outlook" to the end on pages 223 and 224).
