Welcome Back!  I missed you!

Today's Goals:
  • Review Ashley's feedback to your essay (if you submitted it on time for feedback) and understand her feedback
  • Reflect on what you need to do to be ready for Wednesday's exhibition and make a plan

Starter:
In your google doc of starters, write down what you need to do to be ready for Wednesday's exhibition.  Here are the exhibition pieces required for Humanities:

1. Sense of Place writing with an abstract at the beginning
2. Visual Piece with an artist statement

 Answer these prompts:
  • What are the tasks you need to do? Be specific.
  • How much time will each task take you?  Total this time.
  • Prioritize these tasks by ranking them in order of importance (#1 most important to least important)
  • Show your starter to a friend, tell them what you have in mind for the tasks and ask them if the time allotments look realistic

Example:
- Refine my essay (2)--> 2 hours
- Get feedback from Ashley about my visual piece idea (4)--> 10 minutes
- Create my visual piece (1) --> 7 hours
- Write my artist statement (3) --> 1 hour
- Cite images used in visual piece as part of my artist statement (5) --> 30 minutes
- total time:  ~11 hours
